About 1,6 milliard kWh electric power was produced at the state energy system in April of the current year. More than 1,3 milliard kWh electric power was generated by thermal power plants (TPP), more than 0,3 milliard kWh was produced by hydro power plants (HPP).

It was noted in the information given by the Central Dispatch Office of the Joint Stock  Company to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC.

Beside it, during a month electric energy exchange was continued with neighboring countries – Russian Federation, Georgia, Turkey and Islamic Republic of Iran.

As the source informed, more than 8 milliard kWh electric power was produced during 4 months of the current year. By the way, about 7,2 milliard kWh electric power was generated by TPP, more than 0,8 milliard kWh was produced by HPP.
