Hydro power plants take one the  main place in supplying of the consumers with stabile and without interval electric power. By the way, “Mingachevir Hydro Power Plant” total power by 400 MW is one of the huge hydro power engineering enterprise operated in the republic. More than 1 million 9418 00 kWh electric power was produced during four months of the current year.

According to the information given by mentioned enterprise to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC, about 71,8 million kWh electric power was produced in Aprel of the current year. It is 2708 00 kWh more than predicted.

Lets` noted that, the equipments were put into operation for a long time and  physically, morally outdated. The equipments were prophylactic repaired and were supplied with necessary equipments. As a result of it, other technical – economical indicators are satisfactory.

Lets` noted that, 411 million 500 thousand kWh electric power was produced under the chain during 4 months of the current year, factual indicator was about 413 million 4418 00 kWh.

Reconstruction and repair – construction work were continued under the graphic in order to much more improve exploitation level of this energy object. So that, construction work is over at s/s by 110 kV of “Mingachevir  HPP”. Construction work is going to be end at the s/s by 220 kV. At the same time, metal construction was made at the II and III floor of head office of new constructed building.

Lets` also noted that, available 35 s/s was ruined at “Varvara HPP” and preparation work was carried out for construction. Relevant measures were implemented at hydro turbine number 1.

It should be noted that, fire safety is also in the center of the attention and they were supported with against fire means.

Lets` remind that, “Mingachevir” and “Varvara” HPP are belonging to the chain.
