Carried out huge projects at energy system not only inform about economical power but also give information about deep care of the state to its citizenship. “Astara Power Plant” which  was constructed with order of our president Ilham Aliyev is a big gift for people. This generation power is totally meet requirement of the region and makes opportunity for establishing of new industrial objects. After put into operation of power plant, positive results were observed, limits were eliminated at electric energy transmission.

At present, exploitation activity of the power plant is carried out under the graphic, the equipments are normally operated.

According to the information given by power plant to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC, more than 131 million kWh electric power was generated during 5 months of the current year. By the way, 24 million kWh electric power was  produced at power plant in May of the current year.

Lets` noted that, preparation measures to autumn – winter of 2012/2013 years was prepared at “Astara Power Plant” in order to supply the consumers and economy without interval electric power, carrying out of plan tasks  under energy production. Units number 1, 2, 4, 7, 9 and 10 were maintenance checked up during 5 months of the current year. Reserve of lubricating oil and chemical reagents was created in order to supply stabile work of power plant during autumn – winter season.

Lets` noted under the information given by the source, safety measures were strengthened in accordance to summer season. The territory of power plant and s/s by 11/110 kV were cleaned, primary fire extinguisher means were controlled and discovered indispositions were eliminated. Fire dangerous objects were systematically controlled  for supplying of fire safety problem and discovered any indispositions were eliminated.
