AWARD CEREMONY OF THE COMPETITION OF INDIVIDUAL JOURNALISTIC ARTICLES ON “AZERENERJI JSC: HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT PATH AND TOWARDS STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES” WAS HELD

 On July 26, the results of the competition of individual journalistic articles on “Azerenerj JSC: historical development path and towards strategic objectives”, jointly announced by “Azerenerji” JSC and the State Fund for the Support of Mass Media Development under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, were announced and the winners were awarded.

The competition of individual journalistic articles was announced on May 10, 2018. Within the scope of the competition, 35 articles have been published in mass media.

Executive Director of the Fund Vugar Safarli, director of “Azerenerji” JSC, advisor to the President of “Azerenerji” JSC and director of the Energy Institute, academician Arif Hashimov, responsible employees of the Joint Stock Company, as well as heads of up to 20 leading mass media of the country and winners were present at the event.

It was said that the aim of the competition held jointly with “Azerenerji” JSC is to stimulate the professional journalistic creativity in delivering objective information to the public about the continuous provision of energy security of the republic of Azerbaijan, efficient use of available resources and fulfillment of the increased demands for electricity, measures taken in connection with the application of new technologies in this field, as well as the place and role of electricity in the development of the social and economic development of the country.

According to the final results, six of the article authors were awarded with the main prizes and 10 of them with consolation prizes and at the same time the participants of the competition who applied for the competiton, but did not win it were not neglected and they were also rewarded.

Then the winners of the competition were awarded diplomas and prizes.

Finally, the confidence was expressed that such joint projects will continue in the future.
