“Khachmaz Regional Electric Network” (REN) takes the main role in supplying of the consumers of northern region of the republic with electric power in high level.

According to the information given by REN to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC, hard winter season of last year was experimented of power engineering specialist of this enterprise and other enterprises. In spite of it, previous measures were implemented by professional power engineering specialists in the line of preventing of any accidents. In general, there was no observed any serious problem except of opening situations in spite of production was more than prediction. There was no observed serious problem at high tensioned lines and at s/s except of discovered opening situation at lines by 6-10 kV. One of the main purpose of this situation is carrying out of urgent measures for much more rising of exploitation level during spring – summer months of last year at all networks.

Lets` noted that, entry oil circuit breaker by 6 kV of the II transformer by 31,5 MVA was substituted with new one at Siyazen s/s by 110 kV. At the same time, MKP – 10  type circuit breaker by 110 kV of the I transformer by 25 MVA was changed with insulating gas breaker. Current transformer was renewed, tire-cover disconnector by 110 kV of the I transformer was also renewed.

By the way, reconstruction of networks belonging to REN territory is also included to there type measures. Preparation of lists is begun for carrying of necessary measures in order to reconstructed of  networks  by 35 kV and low tension. Necessary measures were implemented in the line of it at all regions. Essential documents were assembled for substituting of SIL type cable by 6- 10  kV, construction of smart – card type meters at the s/s by 35 kV. Executing of these work will be intended in the future. Improving of energy supply of outskirts villages are also intended.

It should be noted that, carrying out some projects under the network by 110 kV  is planned. So that, as we  know a lot of tourist are visited this region during summer. And it makes opportunity for construction of energy capacious objects. Construction of s/s by 110 kV, lengthening of the III Khachmaz TL to Yalama s/s, two circuit installation of the III – IV Khachmaz line are belonging to these type measures.  Reconstruction of Khudat and Yalama s/s are also included to this plan.

It should be noted at the end that, labour protection and technical security work are in normal work regime. Different climate condition and relief of the service territory make some risks for exploitation staff. That is why the staff are instructed. These type of measures are prevented undesirable situations.
