More than 1,5 milliard kWh electric power was produced at energy system in May of the current year. From this capacity, about 1,3 milliard was generated by thermal power plants (TPP) and more than 0,2 milliard was produced by hydro power plants (HPP).

It was noted in the information given by the Central Dispatcher Office of the Joint Stock Company to the Press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC.

Beside it, electric power exchange was implemented during a month with neighboring countries -  Russian Federation, Turkey, Georgia and Islamic Republic of Iran during a month.

Under the information given by the source, more than 9,5 milliard kWh electric power was produced during 5 months of the current year. By the way, about 8,5 milliard was generated by TPP and more than 1 milliard was produced by HPP.
