Lots of measures were carried out at “Mingachevir Hydro Power Plant Chain” which has no analogue in Caucasus, was put into operation in 1954, in the line of increasing of work stability  of the equipments, rising of stabile work of energy transmission and distribution system. At present, reconstruction work is continued there.

According to the information given by the power plant to the press – release of “Azerenergy” JSC, 69 million 250 thousand kWh electric power was produced at the power plant by the collective in June of the current year. Totally 533 million kWh electric power was generated during 6 months of the current year.

As the source informed, at present, large scaled reconstruction work is implemented at the power plant. So that, the equipments are constructed at the s/s by 110 kV. Intended measures are carried out at the s/s by 220 and 330 kV. Foundation work was also over at the s/s by 220 kV.

By the way, at present, assembling of hydro unit number 1 is begun. Preparation work is implemented in the line of renewing of the aggregate. In spite of continuing of measures at hydro turbine number 2 and 3, construction of channels for cables was over.

Lets` noted at the end that, bank fastening work was finished at left side. Restoration work of  ruined places is continued. In additional, the s/s by 35 kV was totally ruined and the project of new switch yard is prepared.
